We had a discussion recently as part of the No Kill in Motion series about animal sheltering during the pandemic and the help of fosters and adopters. There are some places which still have hardly any animals in shelters and other places that have gone "back to normal" in terms of intake. The video runs about 13 minutes.
Participating are Davyd Smith of No Kill Colorado, Alan Rosenberg of NJ Animal Observer and Aubrie Kavanaugh of Paws4Change.
As a follow-up to the discussion, it was confirmed that the shelter intake in Huntsville, Alabama is comparable to that in 2019 and was actually much higher for cats during the month of June (by 73 cats).
